My story
Hi everybody, my names Lev. I am mother to three children. Our middle child Ezel who is 7 was diagnosed with autism in 2022 but as many of you know a mothers gut is never wrong and I knew he had autism from around 10 months old. I am fundraising for the National Autistic Society by organising my own 5k walk during World Autism Acceptance Month, April 2025. This is something that lives inside of my heart. My son is what society labels as “high functioning” and this is some what of a damaging label simply because it gives the outlook that children with this label function easier and better than children who have what society labels as “low functioning” and this just isn’t the case. I am my baby’s voice and boy has it been a fight. Ezel darling boy we are so proud of you. You continue to shine every single day. You continue to make immense progress. Your wisdom, humour, kindness & love radiates wherever you walk. You do not fail to make anybody who you meet laugh. We will never stop fighting for you. And to Emel & Ezra his siblings who he loves very much and who love him very much. Thank you for being patient with your brother.
I will be walking with his older sister Emel who is 11. And we will be walking with other SEN mummies. Anything you can donate is appreciated even if it’s simply your time by sharing this link.
Thank you all 🩵🧩
