My story
My name is John, I am 11 years old and I have autism and ADHD.
I am very lucky to have amazing support from my family, friends, school and clubs. They continue to help me understand my autism and overcome challenges I face when communicating my thoughts and feelings, working with others and taking part in activities.
I am fundraising for the National Autistic Society by organising my own 5k run during World Autism Acceptance Month, April 2026.
💜 I’m running to help improve education for young autistic people
💙 I’m running to help improve workplaces for autistic people
💚 I’m running to help reduce loneliness and isolation among autistic people
💛 I’m running to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month
Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated and will be going towards creating a better society for autistic people and their families. To read more about the work of the National Autistic Society, visit www.autism.org.uk
Thank you 🙂
