My story
Myself, Elodie and Eliana (Hollie's two older sisters) are fundraising for the National Autistic Society by taking part in Spectrum Colour Walk on 5th April 2025 during World Autism Acceptance Month!💜
Hollie was diagnosed with ASD/PDA in September last year and our lives have been forever changed with the challenges we have faced and will continue to while we navigate this huge shift to our family.
We only ever hope that as Hollie goes through life she can access the correct support, education and understanding from those around her, all we ever want for her to be is happy, loved, understood and accepted.
With Hollie only being 5, she is not yet fully aware of her own needs or diagnosis, making each day very difficult. Support is very limited and stretched for all SEN children and sadly there is not anywhere near enough education, even from professionals on understanding Autism in girls and how this presents.
Anything you can donate is appreciated and will be going towards creating a better society for autistic people and their families.
“Autism is not a journey we ever expected, but oh, how it has changed our lives in the most unexpected and beautiful ways". 🌈
For our beautiful, funny, animal loving girl 💜
Thank you so much xxx
