We are fundraising for the National Autistic Society by organising our own 5k walk during World Autism Acceptance Month, April 2025 π
We're walking to help improve education for young autistic people π We're walking to help improve workplaces for autistic people π We're walking to help reduce loneliness and isolation among autistic people π We're walking to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month β€οΈ

Hi everyone βΊοΈπ Me and our beautiful, special son Kane have signed up for Walk 5km this April to raise money for the National Autistic Society Swansea branch π₯°π A subject that's very close to our hearts as our amazing son Kane was diagnosed with Autism at just 4 years old ππ Any donations big or small, We would be very grateful π€ππ We're being brave and going to walk from our home in Treboeth to Mumbles pier which is 12.8km (8 miles) So that's over 5km (3.1 miles) on 26th April 2025πΆββοΈπΆββοΈπβ€οΈπππ§‘π We will update you will lots of photos and videos along the way on my Facebook and on here βΊοΈπ Our local community have been absolutely amazing and they have kindly accepted to put posters and cash tins in Penderry shop, Penderry fish shop, The Cockett Inn, Terry's shop in Treboeth, Gwyrosydd Primary School office and the top of Penlan shop ππ₯°π NAS Swansea is a phenomenal charity who organises events, activitys, workshops, nights for parents/carers and lots more for our beautiful autistic children and familys so we can also enjoy days out too but in more comfortable and quieter environments with first hand experience and plenty of support along the way π₯Ήπ₯°π«Ά May I just add most of the lovely volunteers who run this awesome charity are also parent/carers to amazing autistic children too so to find the time and effort to do this for others melts my heart and i really hope one day i can join their awesome team πβΊοΈπ Soo if you can please support us π₯°π€ππ We would all really appreciate your support π₯°π Again thank you so much to the ones who already have donated we are very grateful ππ«Ά
